Ok all iv been seeing allot of people asking about are DSM auto trans.
Starting here soon im doing a full rebuild on one and going to post pics for you all on how to do it and what to look for. (missed the tear down) Iv been rebuilding transmissions for about 15 years and love doing it . Ill get some pics up tomorrow of the case and parts and do a breakdown. Just trying to help everybody out.

1992 eagle talon tsi
going full rebuild all bushings seals and some hard parts
shift kit ( will post lots of pics for this because it not that hard and ez to do with the trans in the car

Awesome man. You must have some patience to rebuild transmissions for over 15 years
Id like to see the update on this.
Will you be using a performance kit , like IPT or another ?
What torque converter do you plan on running as well?

Any progress here? I know how to rebuild transmissions as well, but don't have access to a press for manual transmissions. I've never done a DSM transmission, but may be sometime in the next year. Would be nice to have references pics prior to doing it.
