Anyone use them... got some reviews? I was at first planning on installing the greddy fmic, but the piping route is like 6 ft long, and just uses too much unneeded piping for my taste. Then i had planned on using Slow Boy Racings fmic, but i had heard rumors that the hood latch needed to be removed and you'd have to switch over to hood pins because of the height of the intercooler. Thats wasn't an option, for now anyways. VPE's kit is $1,400, very pricey i must admitt, but it claims to be able to cool anything you throw at it. This might be too big for the setup i plan on using (SBR GT11), and while they claim to never having a complaint, they dont insist on using their fmic on a daily driver, which mine is. I'm looking for a good sized fmic, with a short piping route, that will work well with a daily driven car that should run low 11's next summer when i'm done.

i have a vpe fmic with custom piping. For the short time the car was working, i felt some good butt dyno gains. Car is under the knife yet again though, so I havent gotten a chance to run it through its paces. Does anyone know what core vpe uses for its front mounts? Ive heard garrett and spearco, but i'm not sure.

I have the Slow Boy Racing FMIC and I love it, I had no problem with the hood latch being in the way, as I still use my stock hood and latch.

By the way the SBR kit is the shortest piping I have ever seen, and a much more efficient core than the the greddy.

the ADFX fmic kits are attracting..

its says its $699 for the fmic.. the pic shows the fmic wit the pipes.. however it says pipe kit available seperately?.. so i take it the pipes are not included in the $699 price?? if theya re included.. that seems like one hell of a deal..

I'm surprized no one mentioned the agp kit at the top of the page. It has short route pipping and is a pretty good deal.
