Will this device work for me with a Walbro 255 and have no need for an added FPR (fuel pressure regulator). Down the line I want a stand alone... but for now... I am thinking of getting something cheap to handle fuel and be able to raise boost to about 16psi with 550 or 650 injectors and my stock 14b turbo.

A local guy is selling this device for $125... wondering is its a good deal.

Well there are a few thing to address first. If you get anything lager than stock, injectors wise, you will need a way to control them. An AFC is the esiaest way. You also wont need bigger injectors to tun 16 lbs on a 14B. It would give you room for error but not needed. Now that that is out of the way here we go. You FPR already has the ability to rasie fuel presurre based on boost stock, so you dont need to get that FMU. On an Fbody, the car I see them the most on, they dont have a FPR that will refernace boost, so they use one of these items. With the mods that you have listed above you could get by very well with a 190 and not need to worry about an aftermarket FPR. With the 255 it will over run the stock FPR and a different one is needed.

Jope that helps
