For my 95 Eclipse Gs-t, my alarm seems to not be working anymore. Well I mean that arm and disarm doesnt really work but panic does. Usually i would hear a chirp noise to arm or disarm but nothing happens besides the lights blinking. Before it used to work fine when anyone hits it, the alarm would go off but nothign happens now when I hit it. Its a viper alarm. Please anyone can help me with where I should start to correct this problem? Thanks.

You held the aux button to long and went to silent mode i would recommed you press the button again if not working go to the web site for viper alarms .

Press AUX before you press Lock or unlock and you won't hear the siren. If that doesn't do it, the shock sensor could be dead, the siren could be dead, the brain could be dead.

Arm it, try to trip some other sensor (if you have any), if the siren or lights go off, your alarm works
Arm it, open your door with the key and see if you hear the siren, if you don't, but the lights still flash your siren is dead.
Arm it, open your door with the key and try to turn the car on, see if it starts. If it does, your brain is dead.

What model Viper is it?

If your siren doesnt go off when you try to set the alarm off look to see if your alarm led stays on solid with out the alarm armed and if it does you have out it in valet mode. To get it out of valet mode just hit your valet button that should be mounted under your dash or depending on what model your alarm is you may beable to do it using your remote by hitting arm, disarm, arm right after each other.
