CAPS can't deal with the Chrysler VINs and since he has an Eagle that poses a problem.
What parts are you looking for?

nocturnalracer, please fix your profile. You have nothing listed for car or year.

Steve

My 6-bolt was from an Eagle Talon...when I bought it I got the vin for it as well so i could order parts. I was able to order all the parts I needed from a Mitsu dealer no problem.

Uh, what? CAPS doesn't care whether it's a Chrysler VIN or a Mitsu VIN. It will work with either. Lists the parts you're looking for and the year (if it's year specific) and get a copy of CAPS for yourself. In a pinch, you can always look on ebay and give them a VIN off a car someone is selling.

I've tried in the past to enter VINs for Talons, Lasers, and Stealths and it always choked but I was willing to accept that maybe I was wrong. I just went to eBay and grabbed a few different VINs and it still doesn't accept them like it does a Mitsu VIN. This is with both the old and new versions of CAPS.

I have the 10/94 one installed on this machine from the new updated Manual CD. It will take some later VINs but still gives lots of errors before you can browse.

If you know how to make them work, fill me in. I have no problems finding parts by model and class just in case that's what your thinking.
