hey guys/gals, i got my GS not too long ago, and i was a walmart, then i came out to see my new baby, then found a ding/scratch on my driver side door...great...

i dont know how much it would cost to fix it, but basicly, its a ding with scratches inside of it. there are 2 little areas where the paint totally chipped off and the metal is showing. its been about 2 weeks and has started to rust a little bit...

i want to clear off the rust because thats the most of my concern. but i also dont want it to look like poop...

whats the best way to get rid of those nasty rusts?

i was thinking of a cheap way out, just sand the rust off and fill the ding, then cover it with some non-rice sticker...but stickers are all rice...DAMN THIS SUCKS...any suggestions? i hate the look of touch up paint...

is it safe to just sand it only then touch up? would i need any anti-rusting products? the rust is only like 1/10 of an inch.

Hey, if u can klean the rust out with a wire wheel or some other means of removal , like spot blasting with baking soda, the hands down best thing u can use til' u get it repainted is anything EPOXY !!! the epoxy will prevent the metal from oxidation from exposure to the oxygen , therefore..NO RUST !!!!

hope this helps!:thumb:
