Just so everybody knows this wasn't illegal street racing, we were on an old abandoned air strip thats about 6 lanes wide. So last night, there is this built C5, a Zo6, a newer saleen, an evo 8 , and my brothers talon. The zo6 and the c5 lined up and the C5 took the zo6 by about 2 cars. So the Evo the saleen and the C5 lined up and the Evo took the c5 by about 1 1/2 car lengths, and the saleen by about 8 car lengths. So they came back to where everybody was parked and my brother and the Evo went out. The first race my brothers talon took the evo by about 5 car lengths. The evo claimed he had a bad start so we lined it up again. This time instead of waiting for the flagger to say GO, he went on 2 (3,2,1,GO), My brother went on go. The Evo already had about 3 car lengths before my brother launched. By 3rd gear my brother passed him shifted into fourth and just kept on pullijg and beat him by about 2 car lengths. This was shifting very slow due to the fact that we didnt want to break anything because we were about 90 miles from home. So we get back to the aprking area and everybody wants to see what under the hood. So we pop the hood and they cant believe this 4k dollar car beat the shit out of 180k dollars worth of muscle cars. They spent about 15 minutes looking under the hood trying to figure out what happened. 18g, 750's, safc 2, pocketlogger, fpr, mbc, 2g mas, 3" downpipe and exhaust, walbro 255, act2600, act streetlite flywheel, kyb agx struts, eibach springs, stock sidemount, stock motor, stock manifold and O2 housing, stock tranny (that grinds like crazy), Oh yeah and the Greddy radiator cap!!! So first thing tuesday morning, he's ordering the biggest front mount he can fit, and after that it's bigger injectors, bigger turbo and engine management.
