Very Bouncy Idle, 500 miles on engine

I finally got my car to a point where it is running half right. I have had nothing but problems so now when the car is idling it just jumps around, it is almost like it is cutting out, but just for a second. It is not floating up and down like a vacuum like or something. It is just like a mmmmmmbupmmmbupmmmmmmmmmmbup. Not smooth at all. Any suggestions?

Hey i have the same problem radomly.. One thing I know causes it for me is some bad gas..
I'll try to find some more info see if i can help you.. but is the gas old/bad? and have you checked out the idle surge, vfaq?

My gas is probably very old. That slipped my mine. My car hasn't had new gas put in it for about a year, so that is a possibility.

I'd say so man! go drain that tank and throw a couple good gallons in!

Its the idle air control valve. Im sure of it. Try that next.
