I have to really bad sounds coming from my enigne when i start it and it is cold. The first sound is whenever the engine isn't warm and it sounds like a grinding noise, but it goes away within seconds of starting it. My second sound is a nasty squealing sound that goes on for about a minute, it only does it when it's very cold out. If someone could shed some light on these problems that would be great, before things start to break. Thanks in advance!

I've had an accessory belt that squeeled when it was cold. It would slip over the pulley and then once the belt got warm from the friction it'd stop. The would be my first guess. If it's a HORRIBLE, grating squeal like metal on metal, then it may be the bearings on one of your pulleys. My money is on the belt though.
