Valvecover.

Well I think it is time to replace my Valvecover, yes the valvecover. That thing is blown to hell. I actually just bought a 95 GSX and i went to do some updates for it and came across a few cracks along the way. Now i realize where all my oil leaks where coming from. The oil cap hates being closed appeantly. I replaced it and it still leaks oil, then whom ever replaced the valve cover before me most have over torqed the bolts and cracked it on the inside part of the cover and tried using sealant? I could just slap that person silly right now.

Don't get too mad at the previous owner. It's really easy to crack these VCs (I broke mine first time reinstalling it and so have many other folks). Be careful, or you'll find this out first-hand.

A socket driver is a handy tool to have nearby when installing the valvecover, as it is difficult to accidentally over-torque the fasteners.

Just grab one from the classifieds and polish it up or paint it and you'll basically have a brand new looking VC for under $50

A leaking brand new oil cap is a clear indication of excessive crankcase pressure.

You should recirculate.
