im gonna paint my VC and i was reading the tech articles and it doesnt reallly explain how to remove it, can any 1 tell me?

Remove timing belt cover. Remove sparkplug wires. Loosen bolts, inside and out. Remove bolts. Remove all lines connected to the valve cover. Lift off valve cover. Remove gaskets. Paint. Buy new gaskets. Install gaskets. Installation is the reverse of removal

Eh, AutoZone gets about $30 for the FelPro set, which includes the half-moons.
