Vacuum question

Well I picked up a 90 GST with a 4g63t 6bolt and it has idle surge. I have read the write ups and I do intend on following those steps. My question is that all of the vacuum lines are plugged on my intake manifold. Even the EGR has a line going from one side to the other making it useless. Does this sound right or could this have something to do with my problem?

I would just check them and make sure none of them are leaking during your boost leak test. And yes it is normal for them to be blocked off as a part of eliminating emissions.

Ok so I should just go on with all the other tests. The guy I got it from said the ISC was bad and I was hoping that wasnt the case. Do the N/A models have the same ISC or is that a turbo only deal?

on a 90 im pretty sure its all wired into one giant connector. turbo or na. so 90s are a different breed at times.

So is a 90 ISC different than a 91+ or just the wiring?

i know the wires are but im not sure about the actual sensor..
