ok, so i have both the taboo vacline diagrams, and im trying to figure out what to do with some of them. i got most of them down (right now my intake manifold is off, so thats my main concern....) but the two going through the intake manifold stay, which btw if your the brilliant person who designed this, you should go shoot yourself, dont seem to go where taboo says they do. they go to some solinoids, but the diagram just doesnt add up,.. can i take off either, both? i really want to remove that damn intake manifold stay, because i took off all three bolts and i dont want it hanging around while im driving clanking,... also those two harnesses, one of them looks like its just screwed on the manifold stay.... anyone know what they are for, how to get them off, and where to move them if they are extremely necissary? any info reguarding vaclines would be helpful.

Hope this thread helps:

Is your car a California emisisons car, since you're in California (do you have two or three solenoids where fuel pressure solenoid is (three = California))? Follow the color lines on your vac lines. This is for you:

For what its worth I only run the two lines off of the manifold. One for my boost guage and fpr, the other one runs the mbc and bov. Everything else is capped off. :thumb:

I think the word should be spread (in that specific wording), so people understand what's up when altering the emissions vacuum lines.

Maybe someone should post that in how-to section, with very simple instructions, something along the lines of: When planing to remove emissions vacuum system, make sure only two lines are coming out of the intake manifold (one for BOV/MBC, the other for FPR/Boost Gauge). Follow all the lines you've unhooked, remove them from whatever they're attached to and cap those nipples.

Simple enough?
