My engine is throwing a Cel code for an evap system leak. I've searched the forums and it seemed the problem might be the vacuum line connectors on the back of the throttle body. From what I've read, the middle and passenger side openings should be capped if its a 99 without cruise, which is what my car is. The passenger side one is open but whenever I put my finger over it to see if capping it would help, the engine stalls. Why would this happen? Bad EGR valve? The car runs alright and is drivable but the check engine light is on and I want to fix it. Thanks for any input.
