vaccum hose removal

Does anyone use the setup where you remove all the vacuum hoses, does it help your car run, and which ports do I need to cap off on a 2g I have the diagram from taboo speed shop but I couldnt blow it up enough to read what it says.

SO I remove all the hoses on the back of the intake manifold inbetween that and the fire wall
