VAC Line From Stock Intake Pipe

I'm wondering what the other vac line is for on the stock intake pipe, i just bought a 2 3/4" DejonTool Straight Intake Pipe. The one i speak of is the bigger one UNDER the valve cover breather hose, when i follow the hose it leads somewhere under the battery so i have no idea what its for, right now its just sitting in my engine bay unplugged cause theres no bung on my straight intake pipe to plug it in. Anybody actually know where it goes?

it's for the charcoal canister....you can leave it unplugged.
