i searched the forums & could find nothing.

to make things easier for taking off the downpipe i wanted to do a V-band conversion. im getting tired of my downpipe being a pain in the a** to take off when i need too. so im getting a new downpipe made and was thinking if i just bought a V-band kit. 1 clamp & 2 rings.

weld one of the v-band rings to the back of the turbo and then obviously the other to the downpipe.

has anyone done it ?

i have a 57 trim. has a 2.50" opening for the exhaust.

the kits come in Stainless Steel Grade 304 Flanges or Thick Wall Mild Steel.

my downpipe is going to be full 3.00" so should i get the vband kit in 2.50" or just got the 3.00".
