Using ClucthMasters pressure plate with other brand clutch disk?

I was Given a Clutchmasters pressure plate and i was wondering if i HAD to get a clutchmasters disk to work with it?
Could i get a disk from another brand and use it with the CM plate?

I've seen people get aftermarket clutch disks and use the stock plate, but i was wondering about my situation.

The only thing I would use a Clutchmasters pressure plate for would be a heavy frisbee...maybe a spinning top, I would never put anything Clutchmasters into any of my cars again! Go with what is proven, the ACT2600!

Use a CM disk. Remember to let it cool down after you abuse it, that way you don't destroy it so soon.

As stated earlier - not a big fan of clutchmasters

if you are in a tight squeeze you should be able to throw a disk in a go

DITTO.I paid almost $500 for my custom frisbee.It might as well been a DK

Damn...I am suprised to see all the negative responses to the CM. I have had mine for a few years now and I dont have any complaints.
