I accidently broke off an aluminum AN fitting in the ports of my intake manifold. So now i don't have a boost/vacuum reference for my FPR.

So what I was thinking is put in a distribution block like one of these

in the brake booster line before the check valve. Then running all my reference lines off of it until i can buy a SMIM after christmas. What do you all think?

I personally do not like the Idea of pulling vaccume away from the break booster. Why not take out the broken fitting? if its broke how were you going to plug it? I have 3 1g manis laying around you can have one if you pay the shiping. PM me if interested.

I guess i should have went into a depth a lil more. the fitting size was 1/16 pipe thread that is what broke off inside the manifold. I tried using an extracter but that just squeezed/sandwiched the fitting in the whole even more. The extractor ended up breaking. I did get lucky though that it broke where it did and actually sealing the hole shut (could have broke and it leaks). So now I'm stuck.

I don't see how it would be robbing the booster of vacuum at all. the booster does get vacuum from that line which is connect to the manifold but so does everthing else thats connected to the manifold. Wouldn't the booster see the same amount of vacuum whether the fpr line was t'd off it or if it was on the other side of the manifold? Pascals law?
 
Vacuum blocks are nice and a great way to clean up the engine bay. Regardless where you pull it from it's not going to affect anything. True though that if you pop off the vacuum line you will have some braking issues but you can pull it from wherever. Brake booster is just the easier because of location and the side of the line.
