USe of EGR port in 1g manifold for couble duty???

The more i sit here and look at how i'm going to mount a second rail and 4 more injectors to the bottom of my spare 1g intake, i often look in the port to see the 4 small EGR openings and think to myself "I wonder how well it would work to use that as a low key meth injection area, for an extra fuel injector or for nitrous for a hidden installation?" (direct port almost too)

Anyone else thought of this? I'm probably going to set it up for some use or another since i don't use an EGR, just trying to figure out what it would be best suited for??

I understand that the port would have to be "full" in order to provide equal fueling, alky, n2o to each cylinder, but man, i'm thinking "they're there...use them for something"

thought's optinions, ideas or facts about this port that i dont' know? please share

Very interesting idea. Not sure how it would work, but maybe someone here smarter than me could take your idea and do something brilliant with it.

I was actually just discussing this with another member the other day. Problems:

1. You can't really regulate flow. You could regulate the pressure that the fluid is delivered, but that is about it. Because of this, you wouldn't be able to accurately shut off delivery either (anything that was still in the EGR "rail" would continue to flow until it was empty). You could change flow rates a bit by changing the size of the hole...if you could get to it.
2. Meth injection would be an especially poor choice, because it would be in direct contact with the aluminum manifold = corrosion.

Other than that, I think its a cool idea, would just need a bit of thought if it was actually implemented. Talk about stealthy!

I was thinking motorcycle main jets in the holes (red loc tite of course), but have thought of the same issues as you. UNless i were to do an continuous run-through (like a fuel rail) i would have problems with equal delivery. BUt... i'm going to do something with them some how... time will tell.. to cool of a little add on not to play with
