2G Upgraded intercooler

Wondering if there is a fmic that doesn't involve cutting the front bumper at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah but those are almost impossible to find. Just trying to keep my 2gb as clean as possible.

Most 3" thick intercoolers only need the depth trimmed, nothing else. I've got a 4.5" thick core in mine and I think it still looks good

Yeah that looks really good! I have been eyeing up the ETS street 3.0".

I have this one. Its the intercooler piping that becomes an issue since there are not a lot of options anymore. I used the CX Racing piping which got me most of the way there. If i had any type of welding experience, wouldve probably pieced together my own for a lot less. I had originally shaved part of the bumper on the drivers side to make it fit with the u-pipe that was supplied because it extended straight out, too far, before making a 90 degree turn. I ended up getting a 90 degree coupler so it takes an immediate turn right off the port and a 90 degree stainless pipe and the bumper fits as it should now. So had to spend a bit extra to make everything fit right.
I cant tell you for sure how it would fit if I hadnt already shaved the bumper, but I can tell that it wouldve been a lot less shaving had i done it this way first. Screws underneath the bumper support bar so no need to cut that.

The full CXRacing intercooler kit replaces the bumper support bar with its own support bar. i dont believe the bumper needs to be shaved if you use the full kit as the intercooler has noticeably shorter ports than the ETS, but you would have to research for a definite answer on that.

it still needs to be shaved, I had that kit before I went to the Treadstone
