Has anyone used Unorthodox cam gears on a 4g64/63 Hybrid Motor? I was setting the timing on my car today, and came to realize that I wasn't sure if I was suppose to be setting the cam gears on the dowel marks that read A or the ones that say B. So I set the timing with them marked on A. Then I was reading on this site about the cam gears having to be set a HALF A TOOTH off. But, I didn't see anything that said it had to be Advanced or Retarded. So I set the timing with the cam dowels pointing straight up, the crank and oil pump set where you would normally set them.
Does it sound like I have done something wrong, or Have I done it correctly?

I know that there are thousands of different threads regarding cam gears and hybrid motors. But, to perfectly honest, they do not go into detail.

As much detail as possible would be great.

Thanks
