Unknown Downpipe

So I picked these downpipes up from a (Nissan) buddy, not really sure why? Just figured I could try and sell them considering he didn't want them. He claimed that they were for/off of a dsm. They are not stamped with any logo or brand name; Apexi, Megan, Thermal, ect. The top one is the one I have the most questions about. Never seen one of these on a DSM. The bottom one is a 3in straight dp, then the rear flange bottle-necks down to 2.5in. I am assuming that it is for an AWD, because it is straight and doesn't have the more severe bend like the FWD ones do. Just seeking some clarification on what I truly have here. Thanks in advance for any help!

Not at all. Sorry. Neither are for a DSM.

It actually looks like a catback. The smaller part of the adapter bolts up to the catback and then it angle out to the left and the smaller pipe bolts up to the L shape pipe and goes over the rear control arm and all that's missing is the axle back. Take a look at the eBay pics of catbacks for our cars and you will understand it better and the big oval part is a resonator

Thats what I thought as well. The top one looks pretty close to the one off his sr20det for a 240sx. Not exactly sure what to do with them now, considering I don't know what they are for.

Maybe, but it seems on the bottom piece, there's a hole for an o2 sensor. That should be on the downpipe.

Okay I see what you are saying. The bottom pipe pictured is def a downpipe though. It even has the o2 bung. I can see how the top pipe pictured could be part of a cat-back system though.

So now, I guess the question is the dp for a FWD or AWD?

Those are NOT downpipes. They are pieces from an Ebay catback exhaust system for a 2g GST, only part missing is the muffler with axleback section.

Nice find! I know that they both are not downpipes. The top one posted in my picture just looks very similiar to a downpipe from a sr20det engine. Thats why I worded it the way I did. Sorry for any confusion. I understand completely now.

It's just an ebay one I've got the same one. Without the axelback muffler piece look for about $40-$60, that's my guess . haha If I had logged on sooner and seen this thread I would have posted way sooner what it is and what car it goes to
