Should I remove the underhood insulation to help keep temps down? Was searching and didn't really see anything on this. Anyone who removed this, does it have an effect on the paint?
Thanks

get a vented hood

It was my understanding that it was there in case of an engine fire (don't remember where I read/heard it). When a fire starts, it supposedly melts/softens the things that hold it to the hood, so that it can drop down and "smother" the fire. Could be wrong of course :p
