hi everyone
this is the first post that I'm posting and I'm not quite familiar with dsms(placement of things such as vacuum diagrams and electrical diagrams) but i do know things about cars and their respective terms. But i just recently purchased a 95 talon with extremely low miles(carfax report)33k...the car seemed to be in perfect mechanical working order but the interior is thrashed(missing speakers, ac parts, heater, etc...)

The problem:
1. The harness underneath the dash seems to be hacked...I'm missing the diagnostic obd port under the dash.
2. The hazard and the signals dont work. I later found out that the flasher control unit was missing and then found out that the harness that connects to the flasher unit was missing.

So my question to you fellow dsmers is if any one knows the harness that contains the obd port and the plug for the flasher unit...

--thanks

My first quesiton would be why would they cut it out?

As far as a harness, probably a salvage yard would be your best bet as far as purchasing a replacement if you need it quick.

Sometimes here in the classifieds you can find a harness along with anything else you may need.

Good Luck and Welcome

welcome to dsm world, and you have a nice car on your hands.

33k miles means pretty much new. you may still have a warranty from mitsu LOL

for the harnesses, your best bet is ask anyone on ebay or here thats parting out the car to cut the harness off thier car, then just crimp or solder the wires onto yours.

as for the interior, just rip it all out and look around for someone parting out again. you can probably get the complete interior from a junkyard for 120$, maybe less if you pull yourself

as for speakers and suck, go aftermarket and you wont be disappointed.

and i just wanted to congratulate you again on the find.
