1G Unbolting the tranny mount

hey guys,

I was just wondering if there is an easy way to unbolt the tranny mount so i can drop my tranny. I got the bolt cloest to the engine (where the mount bolts to the tranny) but i cant get to the bolt behind it, I have ABS and cruise control above the mount so its real hard to get to. I dont want to disconnect the abs cause that be a mpia, can i just unbolt the 4 bolts in the passenger wheel well to drop it? Also I looked at vfaq but they dont give any good clues on how to do it if you have abs in the way. Any help would be great, thanks!

You need to get the bracket off the tranny, you wont be able to manuever the trans out if its on. Get a swivel attachment on your socket and yourshould be good. When I pull the tranny I remove the 2 bolts attaching the mount to the tranny and the 4 bolts holding the mount to the inner fenderwell.
