Yeah I am trying to find out what the hell is going on with my car right now. I just replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder b/c I thought that was the problem. It is making this really grinding nosie when I press the clutch. I don't know if it is my clutch or my throw out bearing so if anybody have an idea of what my car is doing it would be greatly appreciated.

Check and make sure that the trannie is bolted to the engine in all 4 locations, and that the bottom front bolt "boss" isn't busted. My 92 had this problem when I first bought it, every time I pushed the clutch in, the trannie would seperate because it only had the top two bolts, and the transfer-case would rub on the flywheel and it wouldn't like to go into gear. If your unsure what the bolt boss is, It's the ear on the block by the front motor mount that the bolt that goes throught the trans housing threads into. This is where mine was busted. Also if you do a search, you'll find others that have had the same problem here.
Hope this helps,

Steve. :)

Adjust ur shift linkage and the rod on ur clutch its above the gas pedal. On the 1G the clutch pedal wears out as well. If it still grinds try some GM sycromesh….but im sry to say might be ur syncros that are shit…then u must suck it up and see if they are bad enough to force a trany rebuild. My first and second grinded after my clutch replacement. After much adjustment 2nd doesn’t anymore but first still does. Best of luck to u, let me know if u figure this out here are some websites u might want to give a shot.
