Brampton,
So i pulled out pedal assembly to be welded but to my frustration, i took the steering column out of the way so ive got a lot more space to work on.
Well, now that pedal assembly is in, im having a tough time re-installing the steering column back into the lobro joint.
Now, the first time i did it, i thought it was all the way in. So i started putting the screw in and tightening the crimp. Well, it wasnt even on and i believe i just end up making the crimp even smaller.
Ive tried greasing both the shaft and the lobro end joint but everytime i tried putting it back on, i can feel the grooves match and as soon as i pushed the column forward, the joint wont go in straight.
Is there a trick to this? Do i need to expand that lobro joint so it accepts the steering column shaft?
I've tried searching but i only came up with for a 2g. And it didnt even come with instructions.
