Uh Oh I Think Im Creeping!!!!! Help!!!!!

my car should run 12psi and it does from 4000 to 7000 in first gear but then in second from 3000 to 5500 it runs 12 psi but after that from 5500 to 7000 it creeps up to 15psi. is this a common problem? what can i do to stop it from creeping? check my profile for my mods.

The bigger exhaust you put on the car is making it creep on you. What you need to do is 1.) put you stock downpipe back on or 2.) port your wastegate housing on the back of your turbo. www.vfaq.com has some good write ups on the solution to your problem.

i put my exhaust on a couple of days ago and never really ran it hard until last night.. i planned on getting a boost controller and running 15 psi but wouldn't that just make it run 15 for a little while then creep up to like 18? i want to run 15 psi so i think i may just leave out buying a boost controller. also with it creeping to 15 should i be concerned that i don't have any fuel mods??

the porting doesnt always help, but putting the stock exhaust is a guarentee. look at it this way if you port your turbo like youve been told to even if it doesnt cure your creep it will spool a little faster the only 100% sure way of elminating it is to run an external wastegate..... there are allot of little tricks that are suppose to work and sometimes do but theres only 1 sure way you decide.... but if you dont wanna spend loads of money on external gate then port the turbo and see if it works
