I have the greddy type rs bov and was wondering if it matters how hard you set the adjustment screw, will it affect anything. _thanks_
 
Yes it matters, you are putting more tension on the spring inside the BOV. If you tighten it, its going to be harder to open that valve, if you loosen it its going to be easier to open that valve.

A little trial and error is all you can do to get it where it will open just a little under light exceleration and not cause compressor surge.

Another note is that you should be re-routing the dump tube back into your intake or you will run rich at idle or inbetween shifts. The car might stall or run rough.
