So im adjusting my BOV and im wondering i think i found the setting but is it accurate by just revving or do i have to drive it which one is accurate because the car isnt registered so i cant take it on the streets and drive so let me know

Thanks:hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah:

you will have to drive it to get a feel of it... just take it around the block.

You have to drive it to build up your boost unless you have antilag :thumb:

Start with it in it's stock/weakest setting. When you start boosting listen to hear if it is opening pre maturely/leaking (too soft). If it does, tighten it up some. Continue to the point where it no longer leaks. After that, you can tighten it some more until you hear it fluttering (too tight). If you reach that point, back it off little by little until it no longer flutters

With the rs you can rev your car up to about 5500 rpms and listen to the bov go off on the weakest setting you will hear a "whistle". After it goes off, adjust it untill this "whistle" goes away.

I usually just set mine with the car at idle, i start loose then tighten it till its not leakin air on idle but thats just me. well in other terms till vacuum is not pulling it open.

Just give it a rev, if your valve goes off followed by a faint whistle sound after the initial "whoosh" then tighten it a turn, repeat untill the whistle is gone.
