We've thought of that. I fact that why I need a goo DSM tuner so we can work on probems like oil, coolant, boost, timing...etc. I can do so much with wahat I have.

haha I was figuring 15 globs of gum but now that I think of it that may be too much.

Your pic looks like it is a very well thought out design. I know someone has already done a TT DSM but I can't find out who or where it was. I know its hidden in the bowels of ClubDSM.org in the Digest some where.

Good luck to you and we want to see your progress when you make some.

I don't think the stock oil/coolant setup has enough power to actually run two turbo's and cool them. I take it with that large of a setup your going to go with some slim fans and a thinner radiator and probably a front mount also.

Looks like it's a good design honestly but I still don't like the idea of those t-2-smalls twin boosting because once you get past 6000rpm's kiss those turbos efficency goodbye.

You could always change the t-25's to big-t28's OMG OMG OMG
Goodluck :thumb:

Where's the bowing down icon?

This will do: :thumb:

( Out of all the TT newb threads I've seen, your's is the first one I've seen a real setup in progress. Nice work. )

The only people you could brag about this to would be some clueless high school kids. It's not gonna impress anyone who actually knows something about cars.. they'll just give you a dumb look and ask WHY??

 wouldnt that be one hell of a technical achievment? i think that that would impress many. that and having the center peice light up and say Twin Turbo would just be bad ass. i believe it was the porsche 959 turbo that was a all-wheel drive twin sequentual turbo. its also one one of the fastest porsche's ever made and to this day is considered to have one of the most advanced AWD systems ever. tho DSMs arent no porsche with the right tuning a TT setup will work well, as well as turn heads. id really like to see this guy get this up and running.

Wow that is one hell of a technical achievement. I can't wait to see how this turns out! :thumb:

i said it before but i guess no one likes me:cry:
easy fix for the oil problem would to run the oil from the oil filter housing.:thumb: I think the stock coolant lines would do fine if you made a split, he would just have to ad alittle more coolant to compensate.

I like the manifold, im just not understanding how its gonna work. Looks like theres only two runners to bolt the to head? wheres the other 2??? I see some other things that look wrong also but ill just ask about that one first.

Sounds like a really neat project. :thumb: I want to hear how it turns out.

This is what I would like a twin turbo set up to look like.

HAHAHA thats funny. Are you going to base your design off of that little car?

That kit was for sale a few months ago on DSMtrader, i was interested in it until the guy told me straight up and that it would be maybe equal to a 20g, not even, and there is a of custom things, and he did tell me that the oil and coolant lines would be an issue just as you guys stated. He told me that amount of money that would go into setting it up, would cost a lot more than a nice big turbo fully supported so I said screw that idea. It was on a lazer at sometime. I can't rember the site, but the site never said if the project was evr finished.

Holy ish man, thats some nice custom fab, Maybe if everything works out you should start selling you tt-pipe kit, and make one to fit the 14b's and 16g's :thumb:

The set up looks "neato" but for twice the weight and half the power? I dont think he'd sell many kits.

Sweet!! Boys got some skill.

OKAY is it only me? am i half blind or something? i only see 2 exhaust manifold runners that bolt the the head? sooooooooo thats 1 cylinder for each turbo.........as apposed to 4 for 1.....Im sorry but thats not a good manifold. So like what about the 2 other cylinders? there just gonna be wasted? I think that manifold is gonna need more work done to to if not completely rethought. I like the idea alot though so dont give up. I can see it working if you ran 2 cylinders to each one of those lines you already have....but thats gonna take up way to much room.....itll be to long....i dont even see how you exhaust from the turbo on the left will be able to get a pipe to it to let the flow out....i just dont see this happening with that manifold...:( sorry man.

Maybe if we are logical and ask nicely..............

Would you flip it over and take a shot of the back side? People are interested in the manifold. I guess I can see it, but apparently some can't.

Maybe it's how the pic is angled but what the hell are you talking about. Each turbo is connected to 2 tubes each. The one turbo is connected to the 1st and 4th and the other is 2nd and 3rd. The exhaust ports for the turbo on the left is blocked by the right turbo. I just need to fab a y dowpipe. It was previously tested on a 1g and worked beautifully.

That'll be a nice setup. The t25's may not be much but you can work out the flaws with them. Then upgrade to 2 Big T28 killers:thumb:

Its def interesting to see that

as everyone else has said its obviously not for effiecency or power but hey if it actually does work you can def have atleast some bragging rights

although im sure some kid in a modded honda or acura would love to claim that they beat a "TT Eclipse" because its def not gonna be putting out tons of power :(

I'm pretty sure that a lot of people will be wanting a piece of a TT eclipse gsx. I guess i'll just have to make sure that the get a challenge.
I want my car to a a boost and spool that will outlast 1/4 miles. just a fantasy......

If you ask me

id just get a bigger turbo esp if your going for some power!

i mean how many times do you see a supra with a Single turbo conversion *drools over huge single turbo'd supras*
