i really dont care if you believe me the car is no where near being complete and prolly wont be for a while. and the reason for doing the tt on the gs is mainly to see if i can do it and also stir up some business for my shop that is what the wow factor is for there are a thousand turbo dsm's out there and they are incredibly fast but it is not enough to draw in business we are a small shop and i think this will help quite a bit. i dont want to offend anyone by making you think i dont respect the simple setups cause i do, they are proven and do work but for a shop demo car i just think a tt gs is better we got snow today so i did not open up but tommorow i will post i nice close up pic of that t66 its sitting on the shelf right now never even been run yet.
 
To all tuners in the Cali area. I have a Twin Turbo set up for my GSX. I will need a tuner to help me put it on and pull it off. I already have the custom fab exhaust manifold and two t25's. I have a intercooler core that i will need to have the end tanks welded on and fabricate a IC pipe. I still have the electronics side of the house, but I know less about that.
I am looking for some good tuners to help me out with problems and things I haven't thought of. I am in the Fresno but I will be willing to drive to you if you have excellent credentials. Also, If anyone wants to sponsor a 2g GSX Twin turbo. All are welcome.

I'm going to ask why use two t-25's. I mean this isn't that far fetched but the question that I hope dosen't go unanswered will be Why that turbo. None the less congratulations if you pull it off.

I have to ask. Is this a sequential setup or one turbo for 2 cylinders? I'm assuming that since you are using two turbos the same size that it isn't sequential.
 
T25 flows 250cfm's @ 15psi.

small 16G flows 505cfm's @ 15psi.

To get the most of that T25, you want it around 15psi. With both, its going to be at 30psi for 500cfm's. Twin 14b's would be a better choice, and still cheap.

BTW: Congrats if you get it done, it would be cool. Twin exhaust maybe? :cool:

Hi kris,about the TT 4 cyl engines,the new Opal Astra has a 1,9l diesel 4 cyl Twin Turbo.....no shit,we just got some cars in today,but no diesels,i will certainly make photos and post em here for yall..twin turbo 4 cyl..crazy ..and that in a diesel..even crazier..

aww that sounds like a cool idea...it really shouldnt be that hard to pull off as long as you can find room for it all sine you already have a custom manifold. thats prolly the biggest prollem. Man i wanna do that it just sounds cool, even though i relize i can prolly have the same performance for less cost/work with a 16g but still its original and would be a crazy show car. I would think the only problems would be boost conrol, oil/coolant feed and return that is after you get passed the room thing. Im not masta tuner or anything but i think the stuff you would have to do is make a spilt in the coolant feed and run them to the turbos and then do the same for the return. Then take oil from the filter housing and split that and run it to the trubos then the same for that return....then get a mbc and t off the bov like usual then just make it have 2 lines for both turbos, 1 for each, and that should work right? then after that all you need to do if make room for it all..... OO and the exhaust you could maybe take a high flow downpipe for our cars and cut it off at like half way and then get a custom made Y pipe type thing to go from the turbos the where you cut off the Downpipe, weld shut the o2 sensor spots on both o2 housings and just tap a hole for it as soon as the Y pipe comes into one pipe.......Dude im soo gonna be thinking about this for days apon days now...DAMN YOU!!!!LOL..ima have to buy a GST to go with my GSX and rice it out and give it twin turbo...i think that would win some trophies....LOL BBBAAHH DDAMMN YOOUU TWINN TURRBOO MAN!!!!
 
I think it's more along the lines of bragging rights like some said. Most have tried and failed with trying to go TT on the eclipse. I'm sure he knows that he would be more efficient and have more power with a single turbo setup. But he wants the "ooooooo awwwwwww" factor of the twin setup.

i think its just a Diesel war between Opel,VW,Audi,BMW and Mercedes to see who makes the most Torque and Horsepower(those diesels make crazy torque specs LOL)

i guess its to make the Diesels run even better..thez still have that Turbo lag till 1800rpm(most,if not all 4,6 or 8 cyl diesels make max torque at about 1800rpm)then thez catapult all the way to about 4500-5000 rpms..i guess that TT setup is to make the power band even wider...
or just another marketing idea...

2) I wanted something special.

WHY T25's?
1) They were available at the time.
2) If it works the way it should I'll be upgrading it to a sequential set up. Probably might use a Big T28 and something bigger but haven't decided.

At the end of the day I want to be known and with a twin turbo eclipse I might reach that goal. I will still need some good tuner connections in the area.
