Do Nebraska high schools not have a student resource center or equivalent function in the library?

How do so many people lack the basic underpinnings of research? This isn't just forum dick waving, these are some critical life skills..

Tell me that you have at least decided on a power goal and a single turbo setup for starting this steep learning curve..

OK WTF! I didnt accually look it up yet i was just told that they had twin turbo mivecs and now i know they dont. I dont like to google shit because i dont know how to word my search. I DONT GO TO SCHOOL i work. but thanks for you concern

You don't know how to type "twin turbo" or "mivec twin turbo" in to a search bar?

UGH! No its the searching on turbos like if i type in all about turbos or something it just brings up how turbos works.. and shows a diagram and i understand that i just dont understand the math behind it. i looked up the mivec engine and i look at it i just got on the computer. and when i look at the turbo stuff on here you guys talk about like diffrent models of turbos and turbines and boost and all this other stuff i cant find the in between

Yup i do online schooling. And i work. its more productive then highschool.

In all seriousness, you should sell the dsm and buy a cheap DD, get back in a proper school with certified teachers, graduate then go to a tech or community college .. then do the whole modifying cars thing.

I worked and attended highschool, then worked full time in college. As a result I can google search.

You know whats productive? Getting your priorities in order, saving money and increasing your earning potential. Then using some of your discretionary spending cash to properly tune a non-hacked car using your new found critical thinking skills as your guide :thumb:

If you can't even do basic algebra you are sort of f*cked if you want to learn more about cars and turbos, let alone retrofitting one or more turbos on a 17 year old car that didnt come with one from the factory and tune it and have a snowballs chance in hell at being reliable.

You probably think i'm being a complete dick but you'll thank me when your thirty and not mopping the back room at an autozone in omaha.

This thread has become so....so sad. If you can't search for literally anything, you're going to get absolutely nothing from this forum. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found on here.
We can't teach you how to fabricate a custom turbocharger system when you don't even understand what fuel injectors do. :banghead: There is knowledge and skills you need to have that can't be taught on a computer screen here.

That's the best sentence you have written in all thread... Do yourself a favor, stay away from watching F&F movies, save the $5/day your parents give you for lunch money and stay at school... I knew you had no idea what you talking about and knew I was wrong trying to advice someone who come to find out is in high school and probably haven't even done those 2 previous engine rebuilds.. A free advice, worry about losing your virginity first and then if you want to get into cars and engines do it the right way...

So for one i dont live with my parents. 2 i have a job. i did rebuild the engine twice. and I have a baby on the way. DSM is not to talk shit and make fun of people. I was taken out of school for a reason. like i said before YOU DONT KNOW WHO I AM and your just some other person in the world that is no better than the other no matter what your stature is.

In other words you arent a very good listener.. You didnt listen to your parents or school teachers when they said wear protection. And probably you didnt listen to us gearheads back then and ended up rebuilding the the engine not once but twice... And now you dont want to listen about your 420A twin turbo idea... Seriously, a real advice coming from someone who's 31, Learn to listen to your elderly if you dont want to fall in love with the rock and the hard knocks in life. BTW, dont worry about cars, you got a baby on the way, spend your time and money with your family and your seed...

Glad to see that everyone on here can be civil

I'm going to close this as it's just turning into a flamefest. The OP has been given a bit of a direction to start with for learning about turbos and they can always create a new thread with specific questions if they want. But this one's just outta hand.
