My car has been running really poorly after my FIC 1650cc injector install. I've checked for boost leaks, checked timing, and all the normal stuff. I ended up using ecmlink to turn off the individual injectors to see what would happen. I shut off injector 1 and the car ran the same. I tried number 2 and the car ran the same. When I did 3 & 4 the car wanted to die as I was expecting. So am I safe to assume that I have spark problem? The injectors are brand new so I doubt that would be an issue. Spark plug wires are only a year old and I have new plugs in it. Thanks.

They are high z. I have the resistor pack delete plug installed.

I checked resistance on injector plugs. They were all pretty much the same and within spec. I checked resistance on the primary coil and it was a bit high. It was at like 1.1 to .9. I think its supposed to be between .70-.86. Secondary coil resistance was About 13.5 for everything. Those were within the spec of 11.3-15.3. I actually had the car running and just pulled the plug wite from cylinder 1 and the car didnt do anything. Same thing with cylinder 2.

Worth a mention anyway but you sure you got the right deadtimes and global setup correctly and accurate

Ya global and deadtimes are correct. I actually put a buddy's coil in and tried it. Still same results. Seems like cylinder 1 is not firing and cylinder 2 is sometimes firing. I pulled cylinder 1 spark plug and left it attached to the wire and grounded it. Turned the car over and spark is coming from the plug. Not sure what is going on.

Can you try another power transistor?
This reminds me of a similar situation. That's why i mention it.

Can you test continuity at your injector harness and ECU, since those are opposite ends.
I know this is given, but inspect the wires as well.

So you have old injectors? Did you try them to cancel out the new ones?

I have a buddy bringing his transistor to try tomorrow. Checked resistance at injector plugs. All good. I sold my old injectors.

I just went though a similar issue as you are. I had a couple issues, first being the grounding location for my ecu had flash rusted over the winter sence I had the door of my car open for couple weeks while making my new/tucked engine harness and with all the winter crap up here, humidity got pretty high. I just stick my arm up in there blindly to attach ground so thats how I missed it. All ECU grounding points should be checked and cleaned really, one on fire wall and the one under the dash.
But the main culprit was my injectors them selves (RCI2200 high imp bosch)they had developed some internal corrosion as I didn't pickle them properly as I was unaware pump gas caused this, not as bad as E85 but still happens. But mine weren't new like yours. Can you switch 1 with 4 and 2 with 3 one at a time and see if problems follows the injector?
The ecu grouding points are completing the circuit for the injectors as ecu just closes grounds to activate each injector so the grounding condition is important.

Swap 1 plug, wire, injector at a time to isolate what it follows. Let us know.

FYI, it was a bad transistor. Replaced it, and all is good.
