Turning Down the Boost on my MBC?

I only have the stock T-too slow on my gst and i heard that at higher psi it creates too much hot air and not much power. I want to turn my boost down with my turbo xs MBC but it wont go less than 15psi right now. i try turning it down and it just stops turning. What do i do? Should i just take it off?
 
With the stock T-25 go ahead and run 15psi. That is what MOST all people with the stock T-25 run when they are at the stage you are. It looks like you can support it with what you have. Just don't go any higher for everyday boost.
 
I doesn't feel like anything. It is when you are boosting a steady 13psi and it slowly starts getting higher in the rpm band.

Sometimes it is the controller itself. The little perge hole drilled in the side is too small or the ball is getting stuck.

What type of MBC are you using? Is it hooked up correctly?

Im running a TurboXS MBC right now. I think its hooked up correctly. It works ok when i dial it up. it just wont go lower than 15
 
I have a hard time believing it, since the T "totally slow" 25 drops boost fast at high RPM. Just can't keep up. 15psi is fine, so leave it there or 16. Also, higher boost on a T25 may not be recommended, but you will run faster on it. I don't care if people say 'hot air' all day, it still makes power.

So for a 21% increase in air pressure, you gained 6% more horsepower (.9 bar to 1.3 bar.)

Then for a 9% increase in air pressure, you gained 3% more horsepower.

You just proved it's just hot air.

And that makes sense - because no matter how fast you're running it, you're not going to boost much more than 15-16PSI at redline on a t-2-small, right? It runs out of steam right when the car is in its powerband.

You get a quite a bit more area under the curve, though.

EDIT: Good god, I just realized that you were running that thing at 22PSI... wonder how fast the damned thing was spinning on that run!?!?
