I gotta bit of a fickle problem which occurs intermittently. I turn the key to start and all I hear is the fuel pump priming. The voltage is good @ 12.6 before crank and no less than 10 volts during the crank. My key is a bit loose in the key hole. I had a copy made but it didn't fit too well so i had to work the key in a bit and wear it out. During the wear process of the copy key this ignition problem started to occur. I've done some research and replaced the starter first which didn't solve the issue. I then replaced the ignition switch (the white plastic case located @ the bottom portion of the ignition piece). After the ignition switch was replaced the car started a few times on the first try. But not too long after the problem started again. What could be the cause?
Another problem with the car is that the horn doesn't work. I have checked all the fuses and they are good. I recently unplugged the stock anti theft brain located @ the passenger kick panel b/c the alarm would sporadically turn on. I couldn't figure out why my alarm would go off automatically so i just unplugged it. Any ideas about my alarm or horn?
