Okay, i have a 6bolt non turbo head sitting around and was wondering what the exact differences between the turbo and non turbo heads were. any info is great thanx guys

bill:dsm:

well a turbo header is made to funnel air onto the turbo and spin it and the non turbo is just a way for the air to leave the engine

Both allows the air to enter and the exhaust to leave the engine. I think he means the actual parts. WTF

The cams are the only difference.

damn i must be getting tired , i read header not head LOL my bad, yes the non turbo is a 420A or hacked up 4g63 and the turbo head is for a 4g63, hope you dont get no ideas about putting a no on a turb or vise versu, I dont thing you can switch head between engines

You need more sleep:tease: . He's talking about a 1Ga or 6-bolt nonturbo head.

Yea, the cam profiles are slightly different. But that's it.

Thanx guys, thats all i needed to know. NOw i have a head to build on and when its ready, bam ill just swap it in. :thumb: :dsm:

No... The cams are the same for the manual transmission and the turbo model. They are different when comparing the the auto to turbo. They have the exact same measurements according to this book i have.
