turbo upgrade question

I was talking to a member on here who was in the process of doing this about 3 months ago, and I haven't been able to get ahold of him since. But here's the scoop,

He was in the process of putting a turbo upgrade identical to this on his 91' TSi AWD. I was wondering if it were actually possible. I researched and came up with nothing.

Somebody makes a kit so it looks very possible to me. The main thing with non stock turbos is how to mount them to the engine. This kit has a manifold so it looks like it might be a little bit of work but it could be done. Usually you can get a bolt up turbo kit for reasonable prices though and a lot less hassle and work.

From the looks of things, the outlet on the compressor housing is aimed right back at the head. Is it possible to rotate the compressor housing?
