turbo trans compatibility

Hey guys are there any of our trannies in any other cars that will fit a 91 laser fwd turbo. From what i have read the 95-99 ones will if i swap over the cv shafts too, due to the larger size. but are there any other mits. that use the same turbo tranny? I'm doing a at to man swap and am having trouble locating a turbo trans.

all turbo fwd's have the same trans, eclipse, talon laser all have the same trans from 90-94 i believe, as far as a 2g trans might be a fun install considering there mounted in the car totally differant

yeah the 1g trans doesnt have the holes for the mount bracket

the cable brackets on the 90 are a bit different, you can put a 2g trans into a 1g (not the other way though) and you can use an AWD if you want a little lower first gear (must use a VCE) take your pick.
