I HAVE RECENLTY UPGRADED TO A T4 HYBRID ( MONSTER LAG ) I AM RUNNING IT AT ABOUT 15PSI OF BOOST. HAD EXTREMELY BAD LAG, SO I BOUGHT A IPT HIGH STALL CONVERTER FROM IPT TRANS (SUPOSED TO STALL AT 4000 RPM) , NOW IT STALLS TO ABOUT 3100 INSTEAD OF 2500 AND MAKING ABOUT 9PSI INSTEAD OF 2PSI. IT TAKES FOREVER ON THE BRAKEBOOST TO BUILD THE 9PSI SO I KNOW THERE ALOT OF HEAT. SO WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? SMALLER TURBO, NOS, LARGER CAMS OR SOMETHING ELSE? IM LEANING TOWARDS A GT EVO III 16G FROM TURBOCHARGERS.COM.:dsm:

Nitrous would help (NOS is a name brand) with your lag. Why that big of a turbo on an auto and at 15psi. Personally a s16g would do you a great job beings your auto. Also upgrade your IC. Do you have fuel, a tunning device and a logger to go with your setup? A proper tune may go a long way for you. Have you checked for boost leaks? And why all the caps lock.

First of all, I'd look into some kind of boost leak before going to nitrous, as with a hybrid turbo(my assumption 50 trim at the least) your lag should not be that bad. Furthermore, I didn't see a FMIC in your profile nor any kind of aftermarket fuel.....so I'd definitely not worry about nitrous. Continuing on, it helps if you spell all your words correctly, and for the love of God, take a break from the freakin caps lock! ROFL

A T4 isnt just a turbo, there are many so your not giving out enough info for even a opinion.

sorry about the cap locks, work program has to have caps to work. have not looked for boost leaks, and as far as that big of a turbo, got it for nothing, swaped some parts and got it for basically free, i thought it was going to be an overkill and it was, also im not sure who makes the turbo so i thinks thats why, i just thinks its a threw together one from some no name shop. and also i am running the stock fuel setup and stock intercooler (im broke) no logger or fuel controller.

Forget about the cams and the nitrous... you need injectors, fuel pump, safc, and data logger. Once you have all that, I'd suggest you get a fmic.

Forget what anyone tells you about autos. They're great... shoot the fastest car on www.carolinadsm.com is an auto (in the 8's i believe).
This is what you need, and in something close to this order, Erpom ECU and DSMLink, or an SAFC if your cheap(you'll need a logger with this one), Upgraded Tranny Cooler, FMIC(ebay xspower is fine), then some injectors (DO NOT get injectors without something to tune them with. Cams wouldn't be bad either, maybe some FP1's

The absolute most important thing for you right now is something to tune with (DSMLink is the way to go) and a boost leak tester (homemade or from www.boostpro.net)

You need to find out what kind of turbo you have befor you start putting it on or doing anything with it. And if your Auto you need to know what size turbo to match it to the stall you would have to get.

Take it to a shop and find out what you have, your modding blind right now//

That probably won't help at all. Pictures would be more helpful, but really you need to take the housings off and measure the wheels.

i know that the turbo bearing housing and backing plate are turbonetics (has logo on it) but as far as the shaft and wheels and comp. housing i have no clue, like i said i'm leaning toward a big 16 g just so it not so big, it an overkill on the car anyways. also i think the trans went or something, after i put the stall in the car it lasted about 3 days and now it only engages when it wants to ? go figure.......
