So I just installed an HKS type 0 turbo timer into my 89 minivan. Red wire went to battery, black to ground, blue to accessory (tapped into stereo harness), and green to the main ignition (self-splice connected into ignition harness)
I believe everything is hooked up correctly, but when I turn the key off it shuts off. Do I need to have the e-brake or RPM sensor wires hooked up in order to make this thing work? Please help--thanks.

Try the (M) button in the upper left corner. After you start the van push the button until the display shows the amount of time you want to count down, I think it's 30sec, 1min, 3min and then leave it there. Shut off the van with the display showing your count-down time and it should work. Good Luck.
BTW-If that doesn't work, give us the info on your van...make, model, etc... and maybe we can get a vehicle specific diagram.

I had this same turbo timer on my Laser, so I know the basic functions of it. But that had a harness... :/ It was set at 30seconds when I turned the vehicle off.

The vehicle is a 1989 2.5 Liter Turbo Plymouth Voyager. Thank you!

Is it simply a ground signal? Because the van is an automatic--I don't want to hook it up to the parking brake.
