TURBO problems!!!!!

well i know i have a boost leak for sure because when i step on it i just hear an TERRIBLE spuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, sound., its killing me, but it feels like the turbo isnt kicking in correctly, i have the stock t25, and a greddy frount mount, anyone know what i should do.

i had a problem like that it was fixed with a new bov, or your return from your bov my have a leak!!!

so your going to throw on your evo 3 and still have a boost leak somewhere. what good is that going to do you? bolt on a 50 trim and if you have a massive boost leak what good will it do?

well dude use some common sense:

A) you know you have a boost leak
B) you should now know "wow i have a boost leak, i better fix this"
C) there is more information on this site about boost leaks and testers than anyone knows what to do with
D) if letter C occoured to you, next you would have clicked the "Search" button
E) shit like this gets posted a lot.

man you need to take DSM 101 because i just checked your mod lists. Seems like a classic example of a newbie or a high school ricer kid. You have a FMIC (for looks), T25, and BOV (for sound); it also says you just bought a EVO 16G So you have ONE supporting mod but you still lack intake, full exhaust, fuel mods, no boost or EGT guage, and no boost controller, and porting. Why dont you do it right before you blow up a perfectly good spyder :thumbdown

no im say'in that i had a boost leak and it was my bov and you try'in to say somthing hell i dunno but it was kinda flung toward me like im a dummie witch i am but sometimes i get it right

im pretty positive between my car and a few of my friends dsm's, if you think its in perfect running conditions chances are it still has a minor boost leak somewhere. out of 4 cars we tested all 4 had boost leaks...for the 10 minutes it takes its probably one of the best things you can do. they will leak in a ton of other spots other than your bov

i think anyone with a turbo vehicle should and always have a boost leak tester. pressurize your whole intake tract starting from the turbo and take it to 20psi and hold. wherever you hear hissing thats were your leak or in dsms LEAKS. i found 4 leaks unknown to me. one was at my injectors, one was at my EGR valve(it was leaking like a freshly pop basketball) third was my BOV plunger and a few others i can't remember. o'yeah get some supporting mods.
