Turbo Problem

You're welcome, you caught me on a good day. No need for pics, I understand what you're saying now. The important thing is to make sure sure none of that was sucked into the engine, I would even go as far as removing the intake manifold and make sure that all metal shavings are cleaned out. If the inlet and outlet pipes are eroded, take it to a muffler shop and see if they can weld on new pipes for you. Keep in mind that you can pick up a used 1g smic for about $25-$50.

BTW With the condition your ic is in, I'm almost certain you had a major boost leak.

hey i fixed my intercooler and put all the ic pipes on and made sure everything is tight and i did a boost leak test!!! Still Won't Pressurize!!! Not sure where to go from here

1. Disable bcs, it's a bleeder type valve and you're probably loosing a good amount of air there.

2. Open the oil cap and tell us if you feel or hear air.

3. You probably have a lot of leaks, try locate and fix whatever you can then repeat test. Be patient with it, it's going to be a loooong process.
I would also suggest you do a search on boost leak and read up as much as you can before you proceed. It's time you do some thinking for yourself which is the best way to learn. Good luck.

i'm just wondering if the air compressor im using is actually good enough to pressurize my system? i'm using an electric air compressor that plugs into your cigarette lighter in the car.

If money isn't a big issue, getting a $70 120psi electrical compressor from Walmart would be a good investment. At least get an air tank and fill it up at the gas station. Expect to make multiple trips though as I suspect you probably have a lot of leaks.

Finally figured out why my car wasn't boosting and losing power, I had a a cracked gasket that was on the lower intercooling pipe connecting to the turbo. What a relief!! :laser: :rocks:
