Turbo leaking somewhere!

When I drive around, I have to be careful not to step on the throttle too much because the turbo seems to be leaking air or something. When I gradually step on the gas harder, I hear a whistling noise, which obviously isn't normal. Then on WOT, it boost spikes like CRAZY! What could it be? Is my turbo done?

What does it spike to and waht kind of turbo?

Pull your intake off and check for shaft play. What turbo are you running?
Boost leak test.

oh my god I am amazed no one has said boost leak tester. The whisle could be a blow vaccuum line, Maybe from your waste gate actuator with is why your boost is spikeing,

what kind of turbo do you have.

That is exactly what I was getting at... I asked how high it is spiking and what kind of turbo... No answer yet.

I'm running a stock T25 and it'll jump to about 20, maybe more if I didn't get off the gas.

Check for boost leaks...

If I were that turbo and I was on a car that was painted that color and had lambo doors I'd be pissed and break too...
