turbo lag? engine stutter? im not sure

Hey guys, I have been playing around with my type-s on stock t-25 lately.. right now I have the type s set to a 75% of a turn (not a complete revolution) and its been set like this for two weeks now... Everytime I let go of the gas It feels like my car is going to shut down and I feel the engine sputter a little but then after a few seconds everything is normal again... Anythoughts on this matter? thanks for your help.

is it vented ? -- if so theres your prob.
presure test the intake system.. greddy bov's tend to leak.
