1st off my turbo has zero shaftplay and spins free as ever, but recently my cars been puffing a tiny bit of grayish smoke between shifts. The puff only comes in the upper boost range, usually around 15psi. Is that most likely my seals going out? .....car has 117k btw, original turbo.

You could quite possibly revv the car while it's dark out ... hit as much boost as you can with a friend looking into your muffler (from a safe distance) to see if they can see light (or flames) ... or have someone drive behind you while you hit boost and have them watch from a car behind (if you can). I've seen F&F flames shoot out of my cousins evo while he was tuning (started way rich for safety and leaned it down little by little)

... it might be worth a shot...

Im doubting running rich, Ive had plenty of experiences with that and my afpr has been set the same since I got it (37 psi) with no smoke until a couple weeks ago. Unless my cracked manifold is causing weird O2 readings and making me run rich.
