Searched already , but didnt find out what i wanted to know. Can i clean my turbo up with some gas and a soft brush? Or are there seals on them that would dry out? Its dirty in side and out and i would really like to see the real color of it. Thanks

you can use a wire wheel on a drill with first degreaser and then polish.
as for the inside the most common for rebuilders is to use either break cleaner or carb cleaner . they both work great
for any polishing i highly recomend mothers alluminum polish and metal gloss.
1. rub with de greaser
2. towel off and scratch surface with a wire wheel
3. apply by hand on and off mothers alluminum polish
4. apply by hand metal gloss polish
5. use a buffer to take metal gloss off
6. use towell and hand rubb over and over again to remove oxidation
Master Formula -- Home Metal Gloss & Sealer Gloss
best polish by far i have ever used. turnded my IC pipes from what they are in my pro pic. to chrome and they have stayed that way

You can also use gas like you mentioned, there won't be any problems. Just make sure to dry it good after you're done as much as you can.
