Alright guys (and girls) here's the story. i bought a stock GS-T. It has the stock T25 on there right now with an after market manifold and a apexi N1 catback (stock o2, down, and cat). I've got stock intake right now but i've got a Greddy big FMIC with hard pipe ready to go on.
Now the decision... I'm not really looking for a track car, just something that is quick on the street. That being said here's what i have: Stock T25, what i was told was a T28, Bullseye T04b V-trim, and the option to buy a Big T28. I like the T25 spool time but would like to run more pressure plus I'm worried that I'll have trouble filling the IC with the small turbo.

who's got opinions?

Note: I don't want to upgrade injectors or anything due to gas mileage. just looking for intake, exhaust, and turbo mods.

14b since you don't want to upgrade injectors. Upgrading injectors doesn't give you bad gas mileage unless you don't tune for them. My car still gets what it got from the factory as long as I don't beat on it and I have 1,000cc injectors.

Pat, when did you get your car running?

But yeah, without fuel upgrades, you're pretty much limited to a stock turbo. I have 1000cc injectors, a bosch 044 fuel pump, -8an lines from the tank, and I get excellent gas mileage.

well i have a 190 fuel pump new in the box with install kit and injectors are easy to get. it's the tuning that scares me. This is my first performance fuel injection car (i also do muscle). and i have no idea how to tune or what to use. fortunately the car does have an eprom so i guess that makes it easier.
still is it worth getting the big T28 and getting rid of the other two? or should i use one of them?

You could just get a chip for it. I would reccomend DSMLink though. DSMLink Homepage

There are tons of people (including myself) that will help you with dsmlink.

I won't touch a bullseye turbo just from their reputation. T25 won't get you very far. So, a big 28 would be my choice out of those.

Drew, it was running but the mls gasket was leaking due to no resurface on the block or head. Currently need to put the timing components back on when I get back to NC.

Get an evo IX (not 8) fuel pump off evolutionm.net, get some engine management and port out a 14b and you should be happy. That's what I'm doing and I've ridden in a car with a similar setup and it was great. Just make sure you have the right logging and supporting mods. You'll like a t28 also, it bolts in easy. I wouldn't worry about tuning, DSMlink forums have got you covered there. You can post your logs and ask for advice.

EDIT: I see you have a 190 lph but evo pumps flow more and cost $30 shipped...

Okay so back to my original question. for some better street use than my t25 will i notice a difference between a big t28 and a regular t28? also can anyone tell me about spool times? i really like how the t25 spools but i want more boost!

This is an argument that can go on for months here online. My opinion was i did like the 14b idea... that was my 1st upgrade in my Gsx 4 years ago. You need very little to put in - ( j pipe, and a few fittings ect, they sell these kits for around 60 bucks. ) If it was me doing this i would go for a 16G. Sure your going to need bigger injectors but the car will be alot more fun to drive. All you need is 550's for a 16g and the car will build alot more power. I went 13.01@101 with a stock engine and a 16g ( thats just as good as an evo 1/4 mile time ) You sould be happy with that, especially since you already have the right intake and exhaust mods. The evos come with 550cc injectors stock and i know for a fact that they get good gas milage. good luck :thumb:

There's so much personal preference and different goals and budgets that there will be no simple answer to anyone's "which turbo" thread. Definitely look at that thread he posted up there.
