hello
in the past 2 months my car was hitting boost creep, so i decided to go with external wg
so yesterday i took out the turbo manifold and 1 of the bolt broke, i put the evo3 manifold with 40mm tail wg, i took the car for a ride no boost creep ,but my turbo don't kick until 5k,
do you guys this its because the missing bolt on the manifold?

If there is an exhaust leak prior to the turbo you will have poor spooling. Instead of the exhaust gases leaving through the turbo it finds the way of least resistance.... out that bolt hole. Check to see if there is a leak and report back.

As 1slo stated, pre turbo exhaust leaks will cause spooling problems. How was it when you were having creep? Is your BOV leak free? I was having some boost problems and saw that my diaphragm was torn on the BOV. Got it working and fixed a lot of issues.

Get that bolt hole fixed and then check the other if it doesn't fix the problem.

i did check the bov no leaks, but i can hear it leaking between the manifold and the turbo

PB Blaster, heat, drill bits, helicoil, cuss, swear, and if that does not work give it one or two good middle fingers. :thumb:

Seriously though, heat it up till its red hot and grab it with some vice grips if you can. If it broke flush your gonna have to drill it out. Take your time, use small bits and work up in size.
